Torah and Yahusha Mashiach Warned Against False Prophets Who Teach Against Yahuah’s Commandments, Especially While Showing Signs and Wonders

“If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spoke unto you, saying, Let us go after other elohiym, which you have not known, and let us serve them; You shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for Yahuah Elohaykem proves you, to know whether ye love Yahuah Elohaykem with all your heart and with all your soul. Ye shall walk after Yahuah Elohaykem, and fear him, and guard his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he has spoken to turn you away from Yahuah Elohaykem, which brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust you out of the way which Yahuah Elohayka commanded you to walk in. So shall you put the evil away from the midst of you.”

  • Devariym (Deuteronomy) 13:1-5

“Bind up the testimony, seal the Torah among my Talmidiym. And I will wait upon Yahuah, that hides his face from the house of Ya`aqov, and I will look for him. Behold, I and the children whom Yahuah has given me are for signs and for wonders in Yashar’el from Yahuah Tseva’oth, which dwells in Mount Tsiyon. And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter:” should not a people seek unto their Elohiym? for the living to the dead? To the Torah and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their Elohiym, and look upward. And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.”

  • Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 8:16-22

“Then certain of the scribes and of the Parashiym answered, saying, Rabbi, we would see a sign from you. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous nation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Yonah: For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the fish’s belly; so shall the Son of A’dam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

  • Mattithyahu (Matthew) 12:38-40

“The Parashiym also with the Tsadoqiym came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous nation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Yonah. And he left them, and departed.”

  • Mattithyahu (Matthew) 16:1-4

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because the transgression of the Torah shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

  • Mattithyahu (Matthew) 24:11-13

“For there shall arise false Mashiachiym, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

  • Mattithyahu (Matthew) 24:24

“For false Mashiachiym and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.”

  • Marqus (Mark) 13:22-23

“When he heard that Yahusha was come out of Yahud into Galiyl, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Yahusha unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.”

  • Yochanon (John) 4:47-48
