יהושע Messiah Instructed Followers of יהוה To Call No Man Father, Nor Rabbi, While Exposing the Pharisees for Doing So
‘Then יהושע spoke to the crowds and to His taught ones, saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on the seat of Mosheh. Therefore, whatever they say to you to guard, guard and do. But do not do according to their works, for they say, and do not do. “For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders, but with their finger they do not wish to move them. And they do all their works to be seen by men, and they make their t’fillen wide and lengthen the tzitzit of their garments, and they love the best place at feasts, and the best seats in the congregations, and the greetings in the market-places, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers. “And do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in the heavens. “Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader, the Messiah. “But the greatest among you shall be your servant. “And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.’

‘I do not write this to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children. For if you should have ten thousand instructors in Messiah, yet not many fathers, for in Messiah יהושע I have brought you forth through the Good News. Therefore I appeal to you, to become imitators of me. For this reason I have sent Timotiyos to you, who is my beloved and trustworthy son in the Master, who shall remind you of my ways in Messiah, as I teach everywhere in every assembly.’

‘But I trust in the Master יהושע to send Timotiyos to you shortly, so that I too am encouraged by news from you. For I have no one else of the same mind, who takes a genuine interest in your welfare. For all seek their own interests , not those of Messiah יהושע. But you know he has proven himself, that as a son with his father he served with me for the Good News.’
