From Heart of Stone to Heart of Flesh and New Ruach

“Create in me a clean heart, O Elohiym; and renew a right ruach within me. Cast me not away from your presence; and take not your Ruach Ha’Qodesh from me. Restore unto me the joy of your yeshu`ah; and uphold me with your free Ruach.”

Torah Written on the Heart

“Hear, O Yashar’el: Yahuah Elohaynu, Yahuah is one: And you shall love את Yahuah Elohayka with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates.”

  • Devariym (Deuteronomy) 6:4-9

“I delight to do your will, O Elohai: yea, your Torah is within my heart. I have preached righteousness in the great assembly: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Yahuah, you know. I have not hid your righteousness within my heart; I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation: I have not concealed your lovingkindness and your Truth from the great assembly..”

  • Tehilliym (Psalms) 40:8-10

“Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part you shall make me to know wisdom.”

  • Tehilliym (Psalms) 51:6

“My son, forget not my Torah; but let your heart guard my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the table of your heart: So shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of Elohiym and man. Trust in El-Yahuah with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes: fear Yahuah, and depart from evil. It shall be health to your navel, and marrow to your bones.”

  • Mishlei (Proverbs) 3:1-8

For the commandment is a lamp; and the Torah is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:”

  • Mishlei (Proverbs) 6:20-23

Sins Are Written on the Heart

  • Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 17:1-2

Circumcision of the Heart

“If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their transgression which they transgressed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: Then will I remember my covenant with Ya`aqov, and also my covenant with Yitschaq, and also my covenant with Avraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.”

Yahuah Elohaynu be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to guard his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before Yahuah, be nigh unto EL-Yahuah Elohaynu day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Yashar’el at all times, as the matter shall require: That all the people of the earth may know that Yahuah is Elohiym, and that there is none else. Let your heart therefore be perfect with Yahuah Elohaynu, to walk in his statutes, and to guard his commandments, as at this day.”

  • Melekiym Ri’shon (1 Kings) 8:56-61

“The sacrifices of Elohiym are a broken ruach: a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohiym, you will not despise.”

  • Tehilliym (Psalms) 51:17

“And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. “And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Yesha`yahu, which says, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should turn back, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For amein I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see את those things which ye את see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”

  • Mattithyahu (Matthew) 13:14-17

“Our fathers had the Tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Mosheh, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Yahusha into the possession of the other nations, whom Elohiym drove out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David; Who found favour before Elohiym, and desired to find a Tabernacle for the Elohiym of Ya`aqov. But Shalomah built him a house. Howbeit El Elyon dwells not in temples made with hands; as said the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? says Yahuah: or what is the place of my rest? Has not my hand made all these things? Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Ruach Ha’Qodesh: as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them את which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: Who have received the Torah by the disposition of Elohiym, and have not kept it.”

  • Ma’asiym (Acts) 7:44-53

  • Kepha Ri’shon (1 Peter) 2:4-5
