Keeping the Torah of Yahuah

“And Elohiym spoke את all these words, saying, I am Yahuah Elohayka, which have brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other elohiym before me. You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahuah Elohayka am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and guard my commandments.”

“Therefore shall ye guard my commandments, and do them: I am Yahuah.”

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 22:31

“Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and bid them that they make them tsiytsith in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the tsiytsith of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you a tsiytsith, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Yahuah, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your Elohiym..”

“Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may guard the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem which I command you.”

“And Yahuah spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even Ten Devariym; and he wrote them upon two caphire stones. And Yahuah commanded me at that time to teach you commandments and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.”

And I will send grass in your fields for your cattle, that you may eat and be full. Guard yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other elohiym, and worship them; And then Yahuah’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heavens, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which Yahuah gives you. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them upon the door posts of your house, and upon your gates: That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Yahuah swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. For if ye shall diligently guard all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love Yahuah Elohaykem, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Then will Yahuah drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Perath, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. There shall no man be able to stand before you: for Yahuah Elohaykem shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he has said unto you. Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other elohiym, which ye have not known.”

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 11:13-28

“Guard and hear את all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the sight of Yahuah Elohayka. When Yahuah Elohayka shall cut off the nations from before you, whither you go to possess them, and you succeed them, and dwell in their land; Take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before you; and that you inquire not after their elohiym, saying, How did these nations serve their elohiym? even so will I do likewise. You shall not do so unto Yahuah Elohayka: for every abomination to Yahuah, which he hates, have they done unto their elohiym; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their elohiym. את What thing soever I command you, guard to do it: you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it.”

And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bore fruit a hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear. And his Talmidiym asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Elohiym: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the Word of Elohiym. Those by the way side are they that hear; then comes the devil, and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. No man, when he has lighted a candle, covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed; but sets it on a menorah, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”

Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one Elohiym; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Avraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Yitschaq his son upon the altar? See how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, Avraham believed Elohiym, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of Elohiym. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rachav the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the ruach is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

Ya`aqov (James) 2:8-26
