Laws of the Nations Are Corruption
“And it came to pass, when Shemu’el was old, that he made his sons judges over Yashar’el. Now the name of his firstborn was Yo’el; and the name of his second, Aviyahu: they were judges in Be’er Sheva. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. Then all the elders of Yashar’el gathered themselves together, and came to El-Shemu’el unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold, you are old, and your sons walk not in your ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Shemu’el, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Shemu’el prayed unto Yahuah. And Yahuah said unto El-Shemu’el, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto you: for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Mitsrayim even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other elohiym, so do they also unto you. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and show them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. And Shemu’el told את all the words of Yahuah unto the people that asked of him a king. And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and Yahuah will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Shemu’el; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles. And Shemu’el heard את all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of Yahuah. And Yahuah said to El- Shemu’el, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Shemu’el said unto the men of Yashar’el, Go ye every man unto his city”
- Shemu’el Ri’shon (1 Samuel) 8:1-22
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahuah, and against his Mashiach, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: Adonai shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my King upon my holy hill of Tsiyon. I will declare the decree: Yahuah has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you. Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve Yahuah with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
- Tehilliym (Psalms) 2:1-12
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of Yahuah Elohaynu.”
- Tehilliym (Psalms) 20:7
“It is better to trust in Yahuah than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in Yahuah than to put confidence in princes. All nations compassed me about: but in the name of Yahuah will I destroy them. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of Yahuah I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of Yahuah I will destroy them.”
- Tehilliym (Psalms) 118:8-12
“Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove your foot from evil.”
- Mishlei (Proverbs) 4:27
“Many seek the ruler’s favor; but every man’s judgment comes from Yahuah.”
- Mishlei (Proverbs) 29:26
“Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 10:1-3
“Woe to them that go down to Mitsrayim for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Yashar’el, neither seek Yahuah!”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 31:1
“Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he takes up the isles as a very little thing”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 40:15
“All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 40:17
“Have ye not known? have ye not heard? has it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he that establishes the circuit of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tabernacle to dwell in: That brings the princes to nothing; he makes the judges of the earth as vanity.”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 40:21-23
“O Yashar’el, you have destroyed yourself; but in me is your help. I will be your King: where is any other that may save you in all your cities? and your judges of whom you said, Give me a king and princes? I gave you a king in my anger, and took him away in my wrath.”
- Husha (Hosea) 13:9-11

“And every kingdom, city, and family of the families of the children of Noach built themselves many cities after this. And they established governments in all their cities, in order to be regulated by their orders; so did all the families of the children of Noach forever.”
- Yashar (Jasher) 10:38-39
“And notwithstanding this, Nimrod did not return to Yahuah, and he continued in wickedness and teaching wickedness to the sons of men; and Mardon, his son, was worse than his father, and continued to add to the abominations of his father. And he caused the sons of men to sin, therefore it is said, From the wicked goes forth wickedness. At that time there was war between the families of the children of Cham, as they were dwelling in the cities which they had built. And Kedorla’omer, king of Eylam, went away from the families of the children of Cham, and he fought with them and he subdued them, and he went to the five cities of the circle of the Yardan and he fought against them and he subdued them, and they were under his control. And they served him twelve years, and they gave him a yearly tax.”
- Yashar (Jasher) 11:7-11
“And the king answered and said to Riqayon, Your name shall no more be called Riqayon but Phar’oh shall be your name, since you did exact a tax from the dead; and he called his name Phar’oh. And the king and his subjects loved Riqayon for his wisdom, and they consulted with all the inhabitants of Mitsrayim to make him prefect under the king. And all the inhabitants of Mitsrayim and its wise men did so, and it was made a law in Mitsrayim. And they made Riqayon Phar’oh prefect under Oswiris king of Mitsrayim, and Riqayon Phar’oh governed over Mitsrayim, daily administering justice to the whole city, but Oswiris the king would judge the people of the land one day in the year, when he went out to make his appearance. And Riqayon Phar’oh cunningly usurped the government of Mitsrayim, and he exacted a tax from all the inhabitants of Mitsrayim. And all the inhabitants of Mitsrayim greatly loved Riqayon Phar’oh, and they made a decree to call every king that should reign over them and their seed in Mitsrayim, Phar’oh.”
- Yashar (Jasher) 14:27-32
“And thus it will come to pass when all these things come upon them, that they will recognize that I am more righteous than they in all their judgments and in all their actions, and they will recognize that I have been truly with them.”
- Yovheliym (Jubilees) 1:7
“As for the other nations, which also come of A’dam, you have said that they are nothing, but be like unto spittle: and have likened the abundance of them unto a drop that falls from a vessel.”

Traditions of Men Are Corruption
“Wherefore Adonai said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 29:13
“Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The Temple of Yahuah, The Temple of Yahuah, The Temple of Yahuah, are these. For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other elohiym to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, forever and ever. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, kill, and break wedlock, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Ba`al, and walk after other elohiym whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do את all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, says Yahuah. But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiyloh, where I set my name at the first, and see את what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Yashar’el. And now, because ye have done all these works, says Yahuah, and I spoke unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiyloh. And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, את even the whole seed of Ephrayim.”
- Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 7:4-15
“Yea, the stork in the heavens knows her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not את the judgment of Yahuah. How do ye say, We are wise, and the Torah of Yahuah is with us? Lo, certainly the lying pen of the scribes has made it a lie.”
- Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 8:7-8

“Then came to Yahusha scribes and Parashiym, which were of Yerushalayim, saying, Why do your Talmidiym transgress את the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of Elohiym by your tradition? For Elohiym commanded, saying, Honor your father and your mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of Elohiym of no effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Yesha`yahu prophesy of you, saying, This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Then came his Talmidiym, and said unto him, Do you know that the Parashiym were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Then answered Kepha and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Yahusha said, Are ye also yet without understanding? Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defiles not a man”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 15:1-20
“Then spoke Yahusha to the multitude, and to his Talmidiym, Saying, The scribes and the Parashiym sit in Mosheh’s seat: All therefore whatsoever he bids you guard, that diligently guard and do; but do not ye after their reforms and traditions: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:1-4
“Then the Parashiym and scribes asked him, Why walk not your Talmidiym according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well has Yesha`yahu prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of Elohiym, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of Elohiym, that ye may guard your own tradition. For Mosheh said, Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoso curses father or mother, let him die the death: But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Qorban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; Making the Word of Elohiym of no effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
- Marqus (Mark) 7:5-13
“Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Yerushalayim with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Kepha and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey Elohiym rather than men.”
- Ma’asiym (Acts) 5:28-29
No King But Caesar?
“When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Yahusha forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Ivriyt, Gabbatha. And it was the preparation of the Pecach, and about the sixth hour: and he said unto the Yahudiym, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate said unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Qeycar. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Yahusha, and led him away.”
- Yochanon (John) 19:13-16
“Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Qeycaryah to Yerushalayim. Then the high priest and the chief of the Yahudiym informed him against Pa’al, and besought him, And desired favor against him, that he would send for him to Yerushalayim, laying wait in the way to kill him. But Festus answered, that Pa’al should be guarded at Qeycaryah, and that he himself would depart shortly thither. Let them therefore, said he, which among you are able, go down with me, and accuse this man, if there be any wickedness in him. And when he had tarried among them more than ten days, he went down unto Qeycaryah; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat commanded Pa’al to be brought. And when he was come, the Yahudiym which came down from Yerushalayim stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Pa’al, which they could not prove. While he answered for himself, Neither against the Law of the Yahudiym, neither against the Temple, nor yet against Qeycar, have I offended anything at all. But Festus, willing to do the Yahudiym a pleasure, answered Pa’al, and said, Will you go up to Yerushalayim, and there be judged of these things before me? Then said Pa’al, I stand at Qeycar’s judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Yahudiym have I done no wrong, as you very well know. For if I be an offender, or have committed anything worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Qeycar. Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Have you appealed unto Qeycar? unto Qeycar shall you go.’
- Ma’asiym (Acts) 25:1-12
