Mercy Seat
“And Elohiym spoke את all these words, saying, I am Yahuah Elohayka, which have brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other elohiym before me. You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahuah Elohayka am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and guard my commandments.”
- Shemoth (Exodus) 20:1-6
“And you shall make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. And you shall make two Keruviym of gold, of beaten work shall you make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one Keruv on the one end, and the other Keruv on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the Keruviym on the two ends thereof. And the Keruviym shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the Keruviym be. And you shall put the mercy seat above upon the Ark; and in the Ark you shall put the Testimony that I shall give you. And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two Keruviym which are upon the Ark of the Testimony, את of all things which I will give you in commandment unto the children of Yashar’el.”
- Shemoth (Exodus) 25:17-22
“And you shall make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with Keruviym shall it be made: And you shall hang it upon four pillars of shittiym wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. And you shall hang up the veil under the taches, that you may bring in thither within the veil את the Ark of the Testimony: and the veil shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. And you shall put the mercy seat upon the Ark of the Testimony in the most holy place.”
- Shemoth (Exodus) 26:31-34
“And when Mosheh was gone into the Tabernacle of the assembly to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the Ark of Testimony, from between the two Keruviym: and he spoke unto him.”
- Bemidbar (Numbers) 7:89
“For Yahuah will have mercy on Ya`aqov, and will yet choose Yashar’el, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Ya`aqov.”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 14:1
“And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the Tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 16:5
“Thus says Yahuah, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of yeshu`ah have I helped you: and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; That you may say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 49:8-10
“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says Yahuah that has mercy on you.”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 54:10

“And I beheld, and lo! four angels standing at the four corners of the city, each of them holding a torch of fire in his hands. And another angel began to descend from heaven, and said unto them: Hold your lamps, and do not light them till I tell you. For I am first sent to speak a word to the earth, and to place in it what Yahuah Tseva’oth has commanded me. And I saw him descend into the Holy of Holies, and take from thence the veil, and the Holy Ark, and the mercy seat, and the two tables, and the holy raiment of the priests, and the altar of incense, and the forty eight precious stones, wherewith the priest was adorned and all the holy vessels of the Tabernacle. And he spoke to the earth with a loud voice: Earth, earth, earth, hear the Word of El Elohiym; and receive what I commit to you; and guard them until the last times. So, that when you are ordered, you may restore them. So that strangers may not get possession of them. For the time comes when Yerushalayim also will be delivered for a time. Until it is said, that it is again restored forever.”
