Pa’al Made Accusatory and Racist Hate Speech Against All Cretians, While Quoting a Greek Pagan, Which He Claimed to be a Prophet

“One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;”

  • Titus (Titus) 1:12-13

“They fashioned a tomb for thee, O holy and high one. The Cretans, always liars, evil beasts, idle bellies! But thou art not dead: thou livest and abidest forever, For in thee we live and move and have our being.”

  • “Cretica” a poem by Epimenides (6th-century BC Greek philosopher and poet)

[In this writing, Minos tells the false elohiym, Zeus, that Cretes are liars for calling Zeus a mortal]

Ruach Ha’Qodesh Poured Out on Many Men of the Nations Including Cretians, Before Kepha

“And when the day of Shavu’oth was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Ruach gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Yerushalayim Yahudiym, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galiyliym? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Madai, and Eylamiym, and the dwellers in Aram Naharayim, and in Yahud, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Mitsrayim, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Yahudiym and proselytes, Cretes and Araviym, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of Elohiym. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What does this mean? Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. But Kepha, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Yahud, and all ye that dwell at Yerushalayim, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Yo’el; And it shall come to pass in the last days, says Elohiym, I will pour out my Ruach upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Ruach; and they shall prophesy: And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and terrible day of Yahuah come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Yahuah shall be saved.”

  • Ma’asiym (Acts) 2:1-18

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Ruach upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Ruach. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of Yahuah come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Yahuah shall be delivered: for in Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim shall be deliverance, as Yahuah has said, and in the remnant whom Yahuah shall call.”

  • Yo’el (Joel) 2:28-32
