Parashiym, Scribes and Yahudiym Failed to Keep Commandments of Yahuah
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For amein I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Parashiym, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:16-20
“Then certain of the scribes and of the Parashiym answered, saying, Rabbi, we would see a sign from you. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous nation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Yonah: For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the fish’s belly; so shall the Son of A’dam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Niyneveh shall rise in judgment with this nation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Yonah; and, behold, a greater than Yonah is here.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 12:38-41
“And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Yesha`yahu, which says, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should turn back, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For amein I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see את those things which ye את see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 13:14-17
“And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return, and be healed.”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 6:9-10
“Then came to Yahusha scribes and Parashiym, which were of Yerushalayim, saying, Why do your Talmidiym transgress את the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of Elohiym by your tradition? For Elohiym commanded, saying, Honor your father and your mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of Elohiym of no effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Yesha`yahu prophesy of you, saying, This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Then came his Talmidiym, and said unto him, Do you know that the Parashiym were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Then answered Kepha and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Yahusha said, Are ye also yet without understanding? Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defiles not a man”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 15:1-20
“Wherefore Adonai said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:”
- Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 29:13
“The Parashiym also with the Tsadoqiym came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous nation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Yonah. And he left them, and departed.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 16:1-4
“Then spoke Yahusha to the multitude, and to his Talmidiym, Saying, The scribes and the Parashiym sit in Mosheh’s seat: All therefore whatsoever he bids you guard, that diligently guard and do; but do not ye after their reforms and traditions: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:1-4
“But woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! for ye shut up את the Kingdom of Heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:13
“Woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:14
Woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of Gey Hinnom than yourselves. Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the Temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the Temple, he is a debtor! Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the Temple that sanctifies the gold? And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever swears by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift? Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, swears by it, and by all things thereon. And whoso shall swear by the Temple, swears by it, and by him that dwells therein.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:15-21
“Woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted את the weightier matters of the Torah: Judgment, Mercy, and Faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave את the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain את at a gnat, and swallow את a camel.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:23-24
Woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. You blind Parashiy, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:25-26
“Woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:27-28
Woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of Gey Hinnom? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous H’avel unto the blood of Zakaryahu son of Berekyahu, whom ye slew between the Temple and the altar. Amein I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this nation. O Yerushalayim, Yerushalayim, you that kill the prophets, and stone them את which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 23:29-38
“And the scribes which came down from Yerushalayim said, He has Ba`al Zebub, and by the prince of the devils casts he out devils. And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Amein I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Ruach Ha’Qodesh has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He has an unclean ruach.’”
- Marqus (Mark) 3:22-30
“Then the Parashiym and scribes asked him, Why walk not your Talmidiym according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well has Yesha`yahu prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of Elohiym, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of Elohiym, that ye may guard your own tradition. For Mosheh said, Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoso curses father or mother, let him die the death: But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Qorban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; Making the Word of Elohiym of no effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
- Marqus (Mark) 7:5-13
“And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Parashiym, and of the leaven of Herod.”
- Marqus (Mark) 8:15
“And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation”
- Marqus (Mark) 12:38-40
“Now about the midst of the feast Yahusha went up into the Temple, and taught. And the Yahudiym marvelled, saying, How knows this man the Scriptures, having never learned? Yahusha answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of Elohiym, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Did not Mosheh give you the Law, and yet none of you keeps the Law? Why go ye about to kill me? The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you?”
- Yochanon (John) 7:14-20
“I know that ye are Avraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you. I speak that את which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Avraham is our father. Yahusha said unto them, If ye were Avraham’s children, ye would do the works of Avraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that has told you the Truth, which I have heard of Elohiym: this did not Avraham.”
- Yochanon (John) 8:37-40
“And he spoke a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?”
- Luqas (Luke) 6:39
“And as he spoke, a certain Parashiy besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat. And when the Parashiy saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner. And Adonai said unto him, Now do ye Parashiym make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also? But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, את all things are clean unto you. But woe unto you, Parashiym! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of Elohiym: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.”
- Luqas (Luke) 11:37-42
“Woe unto you, Parashiym! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.”
- Luqas (Luke) 11:43
“Woe unto you, scribes and Parashiym, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.”
- Luqas (Luke) 11:44
“And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers. Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres. Therefore also said the wisdom of Elohiym, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this nation; From the blood of H’avel unto the blood of Zakaryahu, which perished between the altar and the Temple: truly I say unto you, It shall be required of this nation.”
- Luqas (Luke) 11:46-51
“Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Parashiym began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.”
- Luqas (Luke) 11:52-54
“In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, so much so that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his Talmidiym first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Parashiym, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.”
- Luqas (Luke) 12:1-2
“And the Parashiym also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but Elohiym knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of Elohiym. The Torah and the prophets were until Yahuchanon: since that time the Kingdom of Elohiym is preached, and every man presses into it.”
- Luqas (Luke) 16:14-16
“Then Kepha and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey Elohiym rather than men.”
- Ma’asiym (Acts) 5:29
