Rejecting Meat Sacrificed to Idols

Appointed Apostles of Yahusha Mashiach Instructed Followers of Yahuah from the Nations Not to Eat Meat Sacrificed to Idols

“Known unto Elohiym are all his works from the beginning of the world. Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the other nations are turned to Elohiym: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. For Mosheh of old time has in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Shabbath.”

“It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Bar-Naviy and Pa’al, Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Adonai Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. We have sent therefore Yahudah and Ciyla, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. For it seemed good to the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.”

“Do therefore this that we say to you: We have four men which have a vow on them; Them take, and purify yourself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning you, are nothing; but that you yourself also walk orderly, and guard the Torah. As touching the other nations which believe, we enjoin them that they try not even one, not one, but that they guard themselves from idol sacrifices, from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication. Then Pa’al took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the Temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for everyone of them.”

In Book of Revelation, Yahusha Mashiach Admonished Two of the Called Out Assemblies for Failing to Obey Instructions Not to Eat Meat Sacrificed to Idols

“And to the angel of the called out assembly in Pergamos write; These things says he which has the sharp sword with two edges; I know your works, and where you dwell, even where Satan’s seat is: and you hold fast my name, and have not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Bil’am, who taught Balaq to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Yashar’el, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.”

Chizayon (Revelation) 2:12-14

“And unto the angel of the called out assembly in Thyatiera write; These things says the Son of Elohiym, who has his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know your works, and love, and service, and faith, and your patience, and your works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against you, because you suffer that woman Iyzebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.”

Pa’al Taught His Followers to Eat Meat Sacrificed to Idols, Contradicting the Instructions He Received from Yahusha Mashiach’s Appointed Apostles, While He Omitted Being Given Any Such Instructions When He Recounted His Encounter With Them

“One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regards the day, regards it unto Yahuah; and he that regards not the day, to Yahuah he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to Yahuah, for he gives Elohiym thanks; and he that eats not, to Yahuah he eats not, and gives Elohiym thanks.”

“I know, and am persuaded by Adonai Yahusha, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. But if your brother be grieved with your food, now walk you not charitably. Destroy not him with your meat, for whom Mashiach died. Let not then your good be evil spoken of: For the Kingdom of Elohiym is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. For he that in these things serves Mashiach is acceptable to Elohiym, and approved of men.”

“For food destroys not the work of Elohiym. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats with offence.”

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. For if any man see you which have knowledge sit to eat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; And through your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Mashiach died? But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Mashiach.”

For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks? Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of Elohiym.”

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antimashiach shall come, even now are there many antimashiachiym; whereby we know that it is the last time. Torah Instructs Followers of Yahuah Not to Eat Anything He Designated Unclean

“This is the Torah of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps upon the earth: To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.”
