Sha’ul Taught His Followers Not to Keep the Shabbath

“Who are you that judge another man’s servant? to his own adoniy he stands or falls. Yea, he shall be held up: for Elohiym is able to make him stand. One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regards the day, regards it unto Yahuah; and he that regards not the day, to Yahuah he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to Yahuah, for he gives Elohiym thanks; and he that eats not, to Yahuah he eats not, and gives Elohiym thanks.

  • Romaiym (Romans) 14:4-6

“But now, do ye not know Elohiym, or rather are ye not known by Elohiym, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements? Do ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain.”

  • Galatiym (Galatians) 4:9-11

“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all transgressions; Blotting out the handwriting of dogma that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day, or of the New Moon, or of the Shabbaths: Which are a shadow of things to come for the body of Mashiach).”

  • Qolasiym (Colossians) 2:13-17

יהוה Set-Apart the Seventh Day of the Week as Our Sabbath

“And on the seventh day Elohiym ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And Elohiym blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohiym created and made.”

  • Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 2:2-3

“Remember the day of the Shabbath, to keep it holy. Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the Shabbath of Yahuah Elohayka: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yahuah blessed the day of Shabbath, and hallowed it.”

  • Shemoth (Exodus) 20:8-11

“And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying, Speak also unto the children of Yashar’el, saying, Truly my Shabbaths ye shall guard: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Yahuah Meqoddishkem.”

  • Shemoth (Exodus) 31:12-13

“Wherefore the children of Yashar’el shall guard the Shabbath, to do the Shabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Yashar’el forever: for in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”

  • Shemoth (Exodus) 31:16-17

“Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a Shabbath unto Yahuah. Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a Shabbath of rest unto the land, a Shabbath for Yahuah: you shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard. את That which grows of its own accord of your harvest you shall not reap, neither gather the grapes of your vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. And the Shabbath of the land shall be food for you; for you, and for your servant, and for your maid, and for your hired servant, and for your stranger that sojourns with you, And for your cattle, and for the beast that are in your land, shall all the increase thereof be meat. And you shall number seven Shabbaths of years unto you, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Shabbaths of years shall be unto you forty and nine years,”

  • Vayiqra (Leviticus) 25:6

“Guard the day of the Shabbath; to sanctify it as Yahuah Elohayka has commanded you. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the Shabbath of Yahuah Elohayka: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates; that your manservant and your maidservant may rest as well as you. And remember that you were a servant in the land of Mitsrayim, and that Yahuah Elohayka brought you out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yahuah Elohayka commanded you to observe the day of Shabbath.”

  • Devariym (Deuteronomy) 5:12-15

“Thus says Yahuah, Guard ye judgment, and do justice: for my yeshu`ah is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man that does this, and the son of A’dam that lays hold on it; that guards the Shabbath from polluting it, and guards his hand from doing any evil. Neither let the son of the stranger, that has joined himself to El-Yahuah, speak, saying, Yahuah has utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus says Yahuah unto the eunuchs that guard my Shabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Even unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to Yahuah, to serve him, and to love the name of Yahuah, to be his servants, everyone that guards the Shabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their ascending smoke offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people. Adonai Yahuah which gathers the outcasts of Yashar’el says, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.”

  • Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 56:1-8

“Her priests have violated my Torah, and have profaned my holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my Shabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.”

Yahusha Mashiach Instructed Followers of Yahuah On Properly Keeping the Shabbath

“At that time Yahusha went on the Shabbath through the fields; and his Talmidiym were hungry, and began to pluck the heads of grain, and to eat. But when the Parashiym saw it, they said unto him, Behold, your Talmidiym do that את which is not Lawful to do upon the Shabbath. But he said unto them, Have ye not read את what David did, when he was hungry, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of Elohiym, and did eat the showbread, which was not Lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the Torah, how that on the Shabbaths the priests in the Temple profane the Shabbaths, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the Temple. But if ye had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned את the guiltless. For Yahuah is the essence, and the Shabbath; the Son of A’dam. And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue: And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it Lawful to heal on the Shabbaths? that they might accuse him. And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Shabbath, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is Lawful to do well on the Shabbaths. Then says he to the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. Then the Parashiym went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.”

  • Mattithyahu (Matthew) 12:1-14

“And it came to pass, that he went through the fields on the Shabbath; and his Talmidiym began, as they went, to pluck the heads of grain. And the Parashiym said unto him, Behold, why do they on the Shabbath את that which is not Lawful? And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he, and they that were with him? How he went into the house of Elohiym in the days of Avyathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread, which is not Lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him? And he said unto them, The Shabbath was made for man, and not man for the Shabbath: Therefore the Son of A’dam is Adonai also of the Shabbaths.”

  • Marqus (Mark) 2:23-28

“And it came to pass on the second Shabbath after the first, that he went through the fields; and his Talmidiym plucked the heads of grain, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. And certain of the Parashiym said unto them, Why do ye that את which is not Lawful to do on the Shabbaths? And Yahusha answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, את when himself was hungry, and they which were with him; How he went into the house of Elohiym, and did take and eat the showbread, and gave also to them that were with him; את which it is not Lawful to eat but for the priests alone? And he said unto them, That the Son of A’dam is Adonai also of the Shabbath. And it came to pass also on another Shabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. And the scribes and Parashiym watched him, whether he would heal on the Shabbath; that they might find an accusation against him. But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. Then said Yahusha unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it Lawful on the Shabbaths to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other. And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Yahusha.”

  • Luqas (Luke) 6:1-11

“And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Shabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a ruach of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Yahusha saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified Elohiym. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Yahusha had healed on the Shabbath, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Shabbath. Adonai then answered him, and said, You hypocrite, do not each one of you on the Shabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Avraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Shabbath? And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.”

  • Luqas (Luke) 13:10-17

“And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Parashiym to eat bread on the Shabbath, that they watched him. And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy. And Yahusha answering spoke unto the lawyers and Parashiym, saying, Is it Lawful to heal on the Shabbath? And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go; And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the Shabbath? And they could not answer him again to these things.”

  • Luqas (Luke) 14:1-6

“And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Yahusha saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said unto him, Will you be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me. Yahusha said unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Shabbath. The Yahudiym therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the Shabbath: it is not Lawful for you to carry your bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up your bed, and walk. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto you, Take up your bed, and walk? And he that was healed knew not who it was: for Yahusha had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Yahusha finds him in the Temple, and says unto him, Behold, you are made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you. The man departed, and told the Yahudiym that it was Yahusha, which had made him whole. And therefore did the Yahudiym persecute Yahusha, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Shabbath. But Yahusha answered them, My Father works hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Yahudiym sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Shabbath, but said also that Elohiym was his Father, making himself equal with Elohiym. Then answered Yahusha and said unto them, Amein, Amein, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees את the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise. For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Son quickens whom he will. For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent him. Amein, Amein, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Amein, Amein, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of theSon of Elohiym: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself; And has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of A’dam. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true. Ye sent unto Yahuchanon, and he bore witness unto the Truth. But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. But I have greater witness than that of Yahuchanon: for the works which the Father has given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father has sent me. And the Father himself, which has sent me, has borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he has sent, him ye believe not. Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honor from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of Elohiym in you. I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that comes from Elohiym only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Mosheh, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Mosheh, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?”

  • Yochanon (John) 5:5-47

“Now about the midst of the feast Yahusha went up into the Temple, and taught. And the Yahudiym marvelled, saying, How knows this man the Scriptures, having never learned? Yahusha answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of Elohiym, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Did not Mosheh give you the Law, and yet none of you keeps the Law? Why go ye about to kill me? The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you? Yahusha answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. Mosheh therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Mosheh, but of the fathers;) and ye on the Shabbath circumcise a man. If a man on the Shabbath receive circumcision, that the Law of Mosheh should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the Shabbath? Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

  • Yochanon (John) 7:14-24

“And as Yahusha passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his Talmidiym asked him, saying, Rabbi, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Yahusha answered, Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of Elohiym should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Shiloach, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. The neighbors therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. Therefore said they unto him, How were your eyes opened? He answered and said, A man that is called Yahusha made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Shiloach, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not. They brought to the Parashiym him that aforetime was blind. And it was the Shabbath when Yahusha made the clay, and opened his eyes. Then again the Parashiym also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon my eyes, and I washed, and do see. Therefore said some of the Parashiym, This man is not of Elohiym, because he guards not the Shabbath. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. They say unto the blind man again, What say you of him, that he has opened your eyes? He said, He is a prophet. But the Yahudiym did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight. And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then does he now see? His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind: But by what means he now sees, we know not; or who has opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself. These words spoke his parents, because they feared the Yahudiym: for the Yahudiym had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Mashiach), he should be put out of the synagogue. Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him. Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give Elohiym the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. Then said they to him again, What did he to you? how opened he your eyes? He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his Talmidiym? Then they reviled him, and said, You are his Talmiyd; but we are Mosheh’s Talmidiym. We know that Elohiym spoke unto Mosheh: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he has opened my eyes. Now we know that Elohiym hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of Elohiym, and does his will, him he hears. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of Elohiym, he could do nothing. They answered and said unto him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out. Yahusha heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Do you believe on the Son of Elohiym? He answered and said, Who is he, Adonai, that I might believe on him? And Yahusha said unto him, You have both seen him, and it is he that talks with you. And he said, Adonai, I believe. And he worshipped him. And Yahusha said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Parashiym which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? Yahusha said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remains”

Yahusha Mashiach Revealed to Followers of Yahuah that Shabbath-Keeping Will Apply, Even During Tribulation and End Times

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniy’el the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Yahud flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Shabbath: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

  • Mattithyahu (Matthew) 24:15-21
