Yahusha Mashiach Appointed Twelve Apostles to Himself from Among His Talmidiym Before Many Witnesses
“And when he had called unto him his twelve Talmidiym, he gave them power against unclean ruachoth, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Shim`on, who is called Kepha, and Andrai his brother; Ya`aqov the son of Zavdiy, and Yochanon his brother; Philip, and Bar Talmai; Ta’om, and Mattithyahu the publican; Ya`aqov the son of Cheleph, and Leva’oth, whose surname was Thaddai; Shim`on the Kena`aniy, and Yahudah Iyshqiryot, who also betrayed him. These twelve Yahusha sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the other nations, and into any city of the Shomeroniym enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Yashar’el. And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal את the sick, cleanse את the lepers, raise את the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his food.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 10:1-10
“And it came to pass, when Yahusha had made an end of commanding his twelve Talmidiym, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.”
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 11:1
“And Yahusha going up to Yerushalayim took the twelve Talmidiym apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Yerushalayim; and the Son of A’dam shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the other nations to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.””
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 20:17-19
“And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: And Shim`on he surnamed Kepha; And Ya`aqov the son of Zavdiy, and Yochanon the brother of Ya`aqov; and he surnamed them Beney Ragosh, which is, The sons of thunder: And Andrai, and Philip, and Bar Talmai, and Mattithyahu, and Ta’om, and Ya`aqov the son of Cheleph, and Thaddai, and Shim`on the Kena`aniy, And Yahudah Iyshqiryot, which also betrayed him: and they went into a house.”
- Marqus (Mark) 3:14-19
“And when it was day, he called unto him his Talmidiym: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; Shim`on, (whom he also named Kepha,) and Andrai his brother, Ya`aqov and את Yochanon, את Philip and את Bar Talmai, את Mattithyahu and Ta’om, Ya`aqov the son of Cheleph, and Shim`on the Zealot, And Yahudah the brother of Ya`aqov, and Yahudah Iyshqiryot, which also was the traitor.”
- Luqas (Luke) 6:13-16
“Then he called his twelve Talmidiym together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.”
- Luqas (Luke) 9:1
“And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Kepha, and Ya`aqov, and Yochanon, and Andrai, Philip, and Ta’om, Bar Talmai, and Mattithyahu, Ya`aqov the son of Cheleph, and Shim`on the Zealot, and Yahudah the brother of Ya`aqov. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Miryam the mother of Yahusha, and with his brethren. And in those days Kepha stood up in the midst of the Talmidiym, and said, (the number of names together were about a hundred and twenty,) Men and brethren, this Scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Ruach Ha’Qodesh by the mouth of David spoke before concerning Yahudah, which was guide to them that took Yahusha. For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. And it was known unto all the dwellers at Yerushalayim; in so much as that field is called in their proper tongue, Akeldama, that is to say, The field of blood. For it is written in the Cepher of Tehilliym, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his ministry let another take. Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that Adonai Yahusha went in and out among us, Beginning from the baptism of Yahuchanon, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. And they appointed two, Yoceph called Bartsava, who was surnamed Yoctoc, and Mattithyahu. And they prayed, and said, You, Yahuah, which know the hearts of all men, show whether of these two you have chosen, That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Yahudah by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Mattithyahu; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.”
- Ma’asiym (Acts) 1:13-26
“Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. For they persecute him whom you have smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom you have wounded.”
- Tehilliym (Psalms) 69:25-26
“Hold not your peace, O Elohai of my praise; For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love. Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand. When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin. Let his days be few; and let another take his office.”
- Tehilliym (Psalms) 109:1-8
“Then the twelve called the multitude of the Talmidiym unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the Word of Elohiym, and serve tables.”
- Ma’asiym (Acts) 6:2
