Two Great Commandments of Yahuah

“You shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Yahuah.”

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 19:18

“And if a stranger sojourn with you in your land, ye shall not vex him. But the stranger that dwells with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for ye were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim: I am Yahuah Elohaykem. Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am Yahuah Elohaykem, which brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim. Therefore shall ye guard all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am Yahuah.”

“Hear, O Yashar’el: Yahuah Elohaynu, Yahuah is one: And you shall love את Yahuah Elohayka with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.”

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 6:4-5

“Therefore you shall love את Yahuah Elohayka, and guard his watch, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always.”

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 11:1

“And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love Yahuah Elohaykem, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your wine, and your oil.”

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 11:13-14

“For if ye shall diligently guard all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love Yahuah Elohaykem, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Then will Yahuah drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.”

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 11:22-23

“And Yahuah Elohayka will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love Yahuah Elohayka with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.”

“Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For amein I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Parashiym, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Yahusha said, You shall do no murder, You shall not break wedlock, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother: and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The young man said unto him, All these things have I guarded from my youth up: what lack I yet? Yahusha said unto him, If you will be perfect, go and sell that you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. Then said Yahusha unto his Talmidiym, Amein I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a rope to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of Elohiym. When his Talmidiym heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Yahusha beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with Elohiym all things are possible.”

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 19:19-26

“Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Rabbi, which is the great commandment in the Torah? Yahusha said unto him, You shall love את Yahuah Elohayka with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Torah and the prophets.”

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 22:35-40

“And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Yahusha answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Yashar’el; Yahuah Elohaynu, Yahuah is one: And you shall love את Yahuah Elohayka with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Rabbi, you have said the Truth: for there is one Elohiym; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole ascending smoke offerings and sacrifices.”

Marqus (Mark) 12:28-33

“And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Rabbi, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Yahusha said unto him, Why do you call me good? none is good, save one, that is, Elohiym. You know the commandments, Do not break wedlock, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Yahusha heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lack you one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unto the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.”

Luqas (Luke) 18:18-22

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my Talmidiym, if ye have love one to another.”

Yochanon (John) 13:34-35

“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if את ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his Adonai does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another.”

“And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we guard his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that guards his commandments dwells in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Ruach which he has given us.”

Yochanon Ri’shon (1 John) 3:22-24

“And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves Elohiym love his brother also.”

Yochanon Ri’shon (1 John) 4:21

“Whosoever believes that Yahusha is Ha’Mashiach is born of Elohiym: and everyone that loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of Elohiym, when we love Elohiym, and guard his commandments. For this is the love of Elohiym, that we guard his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”

Yochanon Ri’shon (1 John) 5:1-3

“I rejoiced greatly that I found of your children walking in Truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.”

Yochanon Sheniy (2 John) 1:4-6

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which guard the commandments of Elohiym, and have the testimony of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.”

Chizayon (Revelation) 12:17

“Here is the patience of the qodeshiym: here are they that guard the commandments of Elohiym, and the faith of Yahusha.”

“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the kithara of Elohiym. And they sing the song of Mosheh the servant of Elohiym, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are your works, Yahuah Elohiym Tseva’oth; just and true are your ways, King of the qodeshiym. Who shall not fear you, O Yahuah, and glorify your name? for you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before you; for your judgments are made manifest.”
